Q. Do you build transportable homes?

A. We can build a transportable home on-site if within our build area. If you are looking to transport a home outside of our build area, we can build in our site yard, however it is up to the client to arrange transport and on-site connections.

Q. Is it cheaper for me to build a house on a slab or above ground?

A. These days it is more economical to build on a slab as this eliminates the need for a base infill, steps to the dwelling and underfloor insulation.

Q. Do you have a pricelist for your designs?

A. No, we don’t have a pricelist as there are a number of variables that go into pricing a home and we would never want to mislead anyone. Location is also a significant factor when it comes to pricing as different locations require different wastewater systems which affect the pricing. Q. How long is the pre-construction process?

A. The pre-construction process is approximately 6-8 months.

Q. How long will my home take to build?

A. The time it takes to build a home can vary due to factors such as the size and complexity of the design, availability of materials and labour, weather conditions and unexpected delays. Your Site Supervisor will be able to provide approximate timelines when your build commences.

Q. Are your contracts fixed price, or will I be charged with additional costs later on down the track?

A. We offer fixed price contracts; however, some components of your build (such as the footings, energy rating and structural steel) cannot be determined until our engineers and certifiers have reviewed your plans and site. Therefore, there are possible variations that you may encounter after signing your contract. These include your footings, structural steel, selections, energy rating and any unforeseen circumstances encountered on-site (such as rock-breaking).

Q. Do you offer a maintenance period after handover?

A. Yes, we offer a three-month maintenance period after handover.

Q. Do you have a strucutral guarantee on your homes?

Q. Do you take on renovation projects?

A. No, we aren’t currently taking on renovation projects.

Q. When will I receive my engineers report?

A. Engineering is ordered once your contract has been signed. The approximate turnaround time for engineering is 6 weeks. Once we have received your engineering report, we will send a copy through to you via email.

Q. When can I book in for selections?

A. Once you have signed your contract, our Selections Consultant will be in touch to arrange your selections appointment.
