Join us for a tour of our custom designed and modern, stylish 2 storey home in Patrick’s View, Moonta Bay. The home features a combination of lower level brickwork, and lightweight cladded finishes to the second storey. The home is a testament to the company’s ability to meet any clients building needs, specializing in cabins, transportables, brick veener and luxury homes like this construction.

During the planning stages of this home, it was the home owners intention for this build to be a “dream home”. After growing up in Moonta and enjoying his time at the beach, it was important for the Owner to maximize sea views by featuring balconies to the front and rear of the home. It was also important for the family to feature large open plan living & family rooms to accommodate the couple’s teenage boys’ transition to adult hood, through the introduction of the Pool Table and Bar Space upstairs. .

The front façade features a combination of Urban One Range Austral Bricks and Hebel Panels. The rear of the home features a continuation of the Urban One Range Austral Bricks for the lower storey, complimented with James Hardie Sycon Stria 225 Splayed Cladding to the second storey. This home presents a cumulated look of modern style which still blends well with the surrounding environment. Beneath the external skin is the 90mm Blue Scope steel frame skeleton & significant structural steel embodied within helping this home stand tall. Aiding in moderating the internal atmosphere of the home is the R2.0 batt insulation to the external walls, R5.0 batt insulation to ceiling & R3.0 to the mid floor as well as R2.0 Sono Batts throughout the internal walls to also provide a peaceful noise reduction when all the family decide to stay.

Stepping onto the upper story floor, you will feel solid under foot from the high-quality timber veneer flooring complimented by the mid floor insulation. This floor structure improves noise reduction and also provides a solid feel to the floor coverings upstairs.

Letting important light into the home is from powder coated aluminum windows from Dowell Windows designed to provide as much ventilation as possible. The most distinctive feature of this home is the entrance with a Hume XS26 Translucent 1200mm Pivot Door leading into a large entry void creating a grand entry hallway with crystal chandelier overhanging this entrance. The distinctive balustrade entry void is finished with a Shearwater glass balustrade with matt black finish.

Upstairs features three large spacious bedrooms each with their own accompanying Walk in Robe, an Ensuite and Bathroom. The bedrooms are finished with plush Quest Premier Soft Impact Carpet. The Games and Rumpus Rooms are also to the rear of the home upstairs and the front balcony features frameless 12mm glass balustrading with matt black handrails and floor trims. The hallways, Games and Rumpus Rooms are finished with Realwood Spotted Gum Floating Floor.

Heading downstairs on the Solid American White Oak Open Staircase from Stairs with Style you overlook the spacious Family and Kitchen living areas which feature the Escea DS1400 Gar Fireplace. The modern kitchen showcases its soft close 2pac finish & 20mm Caesarstone benchtops, with mirrored glass splash backs to line the walls. A distinct feature of the kitchen is the layering of an 80mm solid ceasertone raised benchtop in contrasting colour with waterfall ends over the kitchen bench. The kitchen also includes quality appliances, sink & tapware that will enable the family chef to prepare any dishes desired for many years to follow.

Downstairs features a Double Garage with Insulshield Auto Panel Lift Door, Kitchen including butler’s pantry, Family space, Laundry, Power Room and Guest Bedroom with Ensuite and WIR. Downstairs living spaces are once again finished with Realwood Spotted Gum Floating Floor and plush Quest Premier Soft Impact Carpet to Guest Bedroom.

Hot water throughout the home is serviced by a Dux 315L Solar Hot Water Unit with Electric Back Up hot water system. Finally, to help regulate the internal temperatures the owners installed a ducted reverse cycle Panasonic air conditioning system.
